Wilhelm Ludolph von Ripperda

Wilhelm Ludolph Imperial Baron von Ripperda-Ellerburg (* 1698 at Ellerburg Castle ; † January 1785 ) was a canon of Halberstadt .

family

Wilhelm came from the Westphalian branch of the Ripperda family on Ellerburg. He was the second son of lieutenant colonel Johann Christoph Heinrich from Ripperda, Mr. zu Ellerburg and Dyckhausen and his wife Catharina Gertrudt Sybilla von Bar adH Barenaue .

He was married to his cousin Dorothea Freiin von Bar zu Barenaue, daughter of the landlord Heinrich Sigismund Freiherr von Bar, Herr zu Barenaue and Anna Agnes von Chalon called Gehlen . Dorothea was the sister of Baron Georg Ludwig von Bar , canon of the cathedral of Minden Erblanddrost of the Osnabrück monastery .

Wilhelm had a son: Friedrich Clamor Johann Reichsfreiherr von Ripperda (born January 31, 1727).

Wilhelm is the progenitor of today's German-Dutch line of Cosijn von Ripperda .
