Wilhelm Möllers

Wilhelm Möllers (born November 1, 1898 in Rheine ; † March 4, 1970 ) was a communist politician.

Möllers was a trained carpenter and worked in this profession between 1930 and 1933. He then worked for a short time. From 1935 to 1943 he worked again in the profession he had learned.

Möllers belonged to the KPD before 1933 . He was imprisoned by the Gestapo from 1934 to 1935 and was charged with “preparing to commit high treason”.

After 1945 Möllers rejoined the KPD. In 1946 he was a member of the Provincial Council of Westphalia and in the same year also a member of the appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia .
