Wilhelm Müller (handball player)

Wilhelm Müller (born December 5, 1909 in Mannheim , † February 22, 1984 ) was a German field handball player .

Müller played for SV Waldhof Mannheim , with whom he became German champion in 1933 and German runner-up in 1937. At the Olympic Games in 1936, Müller played two games with the German national team , but in the 10: 6 win in the final against Austria he was not part of the team. Two years after the Olympic victory, Müller took part in the first men's field handball world championship in 1938 , and the German team also won the title here. He played a total of eight international matches from 1935 to 1938.
