Wilhelm Pallmann

Wilhelm Pällmann (born February 26, 1934 - † December 25, 2013 ) was a German lawyer.

Career

From 1974 to 1982 Pällmann was CEO of Üstra Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe AG. From 1983 on he was a member of the board of directors of Deutsche Bundesbahn , then from 1991 to 1995 board member of Deutsche Bundespost Telekom . After the company was privatized, he was acting CEO of Deutsche Telekom for six months .

He became known nationwide through his chairmanship of the Pällmann Commission named after him , which between 1999 and autumn 2000 examined options for financing federal transport routes outside the federal budget.
