Wilhelm Pytlik is a former German soccer coach. In 1955 he was in charge of SC progress Weissenfels in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

For the 1954/55 season Wilhelm Pytlik took over from Herbert Worbs the training of the second-rate GDR league club company sports community (BSG) progress Weissenfels. Since 1951, the Weißenfelser had sought in vain for promotion to the GDR league, in 1952/53 they narrowly missed this under Worbs with second place. When in the season 1953/54 the ascent with eleven points behind the season winner was clearly missed, Worbs had to vacate the coaching post and Pytlik was looked after with the task of finally leading the BSG progress into the league. In December 1954 the BSG became a sports clubupgraded, and at the end of the season Pytnik had managed to lead the SC progress into the league as hoped. Pytlik continued to receive the trust and looked after the progress team in the league transition round, which was carried out in the fall of 1955 for the transition to the calendar year rhythm with 13 point games. At the beginning of the 1956 season, Pytlik was again replaced by Herbert Worbs. In the 1956 season, Pytlik trained the relegation-threatened GDR league club Motor Dessau during the last four point games , but could not save him from relegation. Then Pytlik was no longer active in higher-class football.
