Wilhelm Schelter (born June 4, 1881 in Hanover , † April 3, 1925 in Bremen ) was a German blacksmith and politician ( SPD ).

biography

Schelter attended elementary school and completed an apprenticeship as a blacksmith. In 1911 he became chairman of the branch of the smithy association in Bremen. From 1919 to 1924 he was the full-time manager of the price inspection office of the war deputation in Bremen. In 1924/25 he ran a coal shop in Bremen.

politics

Schelter became a member of the union and the SPD.

After the First World War he was a member of the constituent Bremen National Assembly in 1919/1920 and a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1920 to 1925 .
