Wilhelm Steinmüller

Wilhelm Steinmüller (born May 29, 1934 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ; † February 1, 2013 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer and psychotherapist .

Life

Steinmüller studied law , Protestant theology , computer science and economics . He was a professor of from 1966 canon law at the University of Regensburg active and followed 1982 a call to the University of Bremen to the chair for applied computer science, Department of Mathematics and computer science . In 1990 Steinmüller trained as a psychotherapist and deepened his knowledge in this field in the following years. Since 2006 he has been based in Berlin, where he worked as an alternative practitioner for psychotherapy .

Steinmüller published over 220 articles across all disciplines. A particularly noteworthy work is the textbook for applied computer science with the title Information Technology and Society , which was first published in 1993.
