Wilhelm Tannen
Edmund Heinrich Wilhelm (Willi) Tannen (born January 5, 1803 , † February 25, 1864 in Zielenzig ) was a German judge and politician.
Wilhelm Tannen was the son of the chief bailiff and domain tenant Anton Günther Tannen and his wife Catharine Haensel. Tannen, who was a Protestant denomination, married Auguste Pauline Wilhelmine Hoppe (born October 31, 1816 in Cottbus; † 1846), the daughter of the pharmacist Joachim Georg Hoppe, in Cottbus on January 6, 1841 .
Tannen studied law in Berlin from 1822 to 1825. In 1836 he became a judge of the regional court and from 1838 to 1839 he became a regional judge. In 1839 he became an assistant judge in Lübben , in 1841 a judge at the regional and city court and in 1843 a district judge at the regional court. In 1850 he was the district court director in Zielenzig .
From May 20, 1848 to May 10, 1849 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly . In 1850 he belonged to the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament .
