Wilhelm Weigel (politician)
Theodor Wilhelm August Eduard Weigel (born May 1, 1821 in Mengeringhausen ; † April 5, 1906 there ) was a German printer and politician .
Weigel was the son of the court and government printer Friedrich Christoph Weigel and his wife Emilie nee Waldeck. On October 17th, 1854, he married Marie Elisabeth Hoffmann from Hann. Münden. Weigel trained as a printer in his father's company in Leipzig and Stuttgart and in 1854 took over the court printing company in Mengeringhausen. From 1880 he was mayor and from 1887 honorary citizen of Mengeringhausen. In 1902 he was appointed to the Princely Council.
From 1863 to 1866 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency of the Twiste district.
