William of Arras
Wilhelm von Arras , called Dürenstößer (* around 1310 in Alf (Mosel) ; † after 1353 in Trier ) was a German cathedral capitular in Trier.
Life
Wilhelm von Arras was a son of Hermann Dürenstößer von Arras. As a knight , he and his wife Gude entrusted Archbishop Balduin of Luxembourg with their people from Wollmerath, who were in Manderscheid care, as a fief . In a document dated June 2, 1348, Hermann Dürenstößer von Arras and his son Wilhelm vowed to help the Trier cathedral chapter to the best of their ability.
