The lower terrace is a viewing platform with two east-facing benches and an open shelter, the “Oskar-Wiedemann-Blick”. The view is enough Good visibility in the east-northeast to the Odenwald ( Heidelberg ), about 45 km away , and in the south-southeast to the Black Forest ( Baden-Baden ), about 65 km away .
