Will Theakston

William Theakston (born October 4, 1984 ) is a British actor best known for his portrayal of the Slytherin seeker Terence Higgs , from the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone .

Life

While still at school, Theakston attended the Latymer Upper School in London and played a boy with asthma in the short film Killing Joe in 1999 and the lead role of Roddy Oliver in the children's series Geisterzeit in Little Henlock from 2000 to 2001 . For the third season he did not return, as he accepted in 2002 an offer to take on a leading role in the children's series Sir Gadabout, the Worst Knight in the Land . 2001 also followed the internationally most famous role as Slytherin seeker Terence Higgs in the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone . He was incorrectly named in the credits as the captain of the Slytherin crew, Marcus Flint , but Jamie Yeates played him . After finishing school, he studied at the University of Bristol from 2004 to 2008 , where he obtained a bachelor's degree in French. He then worked at Bella Union , Chrysalis Music Group and BMG Rights Management . Will Theakston currently works for the London-based company Warp Records .
