Willershausen is a district of Rosenthal in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Hesse , Germany .
The village, which is surrounded by forest, is located in the Burgwald and is connected to the central town of Rosenthal to the south by an impasse, Kreisstraße 108. Willershausen was first mentioned in a document in 1279. The place name is derived from the Germanic first name “Wilhart”. The place arose from a single manor .
On April 1, 1972, the previously independent community was incorporated into the city of Rosenthal.
