Willi Grabbert
Willi Grabbert (born October 8, 1886 ; † 1963 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hamburg citizenship .
Life and politics
Willi grave Bert was a bricklayer and worked from 1919 as a union secretary . He joined the SPD in 1908 and was a city councilor for his party in the then independent city of Harburg .
During the Nazi dictatorship he first lost his job and was imprisoned twice. In 1936 he was first taken into protective custody as part of a trial . As part of the “ thunderstorm campaign ” in 1944, he was imprisoned again for 14 days.
After the Second War he first worked as a bricklayer foreman and in 1949 took over the management of the social democratic Auerdruck GmbH . He took over the post from MP Paul Bugdahn, who died in a car accident in 1948 . For the SPD, he was district chairman in the Harburg district, which now belongs to Hamburg . From October 1946 to October 1949 he sat in the first freely elected citizenship .
