Willi Herzig
Willi Herzig (born 1949) is a Swiss journalist.
Herzig studied political science and history at the University of Geneva and graduated in 1973 with a licentiate . He then worked in the foreign editorial offices of the Appenzeller Zeitung , the Badener Tagblatt , the Luzerner Neusten Nachrichten and the Basler Zeitung . From 1989 to 2009 he was head of the international section of the Basler Zeitung . He is known for his reports on the Middle East conflict.
