Willy Herzig

Moritz Willy Herzig , also Wilhelm Herzig , (born August 26, 1894 in Dresden ; died 1978 ) was a German commercial artist .

Life

Willy Herzig, son of the tailor Johann Herzig, worked as a designer of covers for hit music notes. Around 1920 he lived in Vienna as a poster designer, after which he worked in Berlin. He illustrated products from Alrobi-Musikverlag, Wiener-Boheme-Verlag, Drei Masken Verlag and other publishers. He also did book binding jobs . Herzig was friends with Eduard Rhein .
