Willi Magel (born May 27, 1925 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
societies
Magel belonged as a defender to Kickers Offenbach , for whom he played point games from 1946 to 1957 in the Oberliga Süd , in one of five seasons as the highest German division. After the first two seasons were finished with fifth and ninth place, he won the championship with his team in 1948/49 .
However , he did not take part in the final round of the German Championship until a year later after his team finished the following season in third place - which was possible at the time . He made his debut on May 21, 1950 in Munich in a 3-1 round of 16 victory over Tennis Borussia Berlin . After he also played in the quarter and semi-finals as well as the replay of the semi-finals , he moved into the final after victories over Hamburger SV in Düsseldorf 3: 2 - after 0: 2 deficit - and 3: 0 over Prussia Dellbrück in Oberhausen . This took place on June 25th in the Berlin Olympic Stadium and was lost 1: 2 to VfB Stuttgart ; the only goal of his team was achieved by Horst Buhtz with the connection goal in the 47th minute.
With the renewed win of the championship at the end of the season 1954/55 he came again in the final round of the German championship, which was held in two groups of four teams each, and whose group winners contested the final, used. He played the first three games of Group 2 and finished the group with his team in third place.

In 1954/55 he was used in four games before he and his team were eliminated from the competition on April 7, 1955 in the semi-finals with the 1: 2 defeat against FC Schalke 04 .
Selection team
When the trade fair trophy was launched in 1955, Magel played for the Frankfurt city selection . His only game in the international cup competition, he played on October 26th with the city selection London , which won the group D game 3-2.
