William Byron (politician)
William Byron ( October 27, 1749 - June 22, 1776 ) was a British politician.
Life
William Byron was the eldest son of William Byron, 5th Baron Byron and his wife Elizabeth (nee Shaw). He attended Eton College . He was married to his cousin Juliana Elizabeth Byron, the daughter of John Byron . The marriage produced a son.
In the general election in 1774, he ran unsuccessfully in the constituency of Morpeth. With the help of a petition he finally managed to win a seat in the House of Commons . He belonged to this from January 28, 1775 until his death.
