William Henry Dollar (born April 20, 1907 in St. Louis , † February 28, 1986 in Flourtown ) was an American ballet dancer, ballet master and choreographer.

Dollar was a student of George Balanchine , Michel Fokine , Mikhail Mordkin and Pierre Vladimirov . He was a master dancer of the American Ballet (1936–37), the Ballet Caravan (1936–38) and the American Ballet Caracan (1941). His first choreographic work, Classic Ballet (1936), was created in collaboration with Balanchine, which he took over in 1944 as Constantia for the Ballet International . His piece Le Combat , choreographed for Roland Petits Ballets de Paris in 1949 , became his best known choreography as The Duel . His later works include The Leaf and the Wind (1954) and Mendelssohn Concerto (1958). Dollar worked with ballet companies in Brazil, Japan and Monte Carlo.
