William Ernest Johnson
William Ernest Johnson (born June 23, 1858 in Cambridge , † January 14, 1931 in Northampton ) was a British logician. His main work is the three-volume Logic (1921–1924).
He taught at King's College , Cambridge for about 30 years . John Maynard Keynes is one of his students . In his series of articles, The Logical Calculus (1892), he wrote that Charles Sanders Peirce had greatly influenced him.
In 1923 he was elected a member ( Fellow ) of the British Academy .
