William John McCart
William John McCart (born August 7, 1872 in Port Henry , New York , † 1933 ) was a Canadian politician ( Ontario Liberal Party ).
McCart attended Berwick Public School and Brockville Business College in Brockville , Ontario . He then worked as a clerk in Finch and Maxville , eventually founded his own business in Maxville and after two years moved to Avonmore , where he ran a general store.
From May 29, 1902 to December 13, 1904 he was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario . In 1908 McCart was re-elected to the legislative assembly and belonged to it from June 8, 1908 to November 13, 1911. He drowned in Cornwall in 1933.
McCart had been married since 1892.
