William Mahaney

William (Bill) C. Mahaney (born May 17, 1941 ) is an American geographer and geologist .

William Mahaney taught as a lecturer at Atkinson College of York University in Toronto ( Canada ). He is the author and editor of numerous specialist books and articles. He also writes novels and fiction stories. He is a member of several scientific societies. In 1993 he received the GK Gilbert Award from the Association of American Geographers for his book Ice on the Equator .
