William Paredes (born September 9, 1985 in Mérida , Yucatán ) is a Mexican football player who predominantly acts in midfield .

career

Paredes began his professional career at CF Monterrey , with whom he won the Mexican soccer championship twice in the Apertura 2009 and Apertura 2010 and the CONCACAF Champions League in the 2010/11 season . During his time with the Rayados he completed in a friendly game played on September 24, 2008 against Chile (0: 1) his only appearance for the Mexican national team .

After two brief stops at the now defunct San Luis FC (2012) and at Puebla FC (2013), Paredes has been under contract with Chiapas FC since summer 2013 .
