William Sinclair (Knight)
Sir William Sinclair († August 25, 1330 at Teba ) was a Scottish knight .
William Sinclair came from the Scottish Sinclair family . He was the eldest son of Henry Sinclair of Roslin and his wife Alicia Fenton . He and his younger brother John accompanied James Douglas when he set out to bring the heart of the late King Robert I to the Holy Land . William Sinclair fell, together with Douglas and perhaps also with his brother, in the battle of Tebas de Ardales in Granada in the battle against the Nasrids .
His wife's name is unknown. His heir became his underage son William Sinclair , who also became the heir of his grandfather Henry Sinclair in 1330. Presumably Sinclair had another son, Thomas († after 1364).
