William Swan, 1st Baronet
Sir William Swan, 1st Baronet (baptized December 6, 1631 - October 9, 1680 ) was an English nobleman.
He was the son of Sir Thomas Swan, who had been promoted to Knight Bachelor in 1631 . From his father he inherited extensive estates in Kent , including the family seat of Hook Place in Southfleet in what is now the Borough of Dartford , as well as the Denton, Densted and Swanscombe estates.
He was defeated in 1660 by King Charles II to a Knight Bachelor and on March 1, 1666 to the hereditary baronet , of Southfleet in the County of Kent, raised.
From his marriage to Hesther Ogle († 1713), daughter of Sir John Ogle, lord on Pinchbeck in Lincolnshire , he had a son, William Swan (1667-1712), who inherited him in 1680 as 2nd baronet.
