Williams Ridge is a striking and 1060 m high mountain ridge with an east-west orientation in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the western section of the Shackleton Range, it rises 1.5 km northwest of Honnywill Peak between the Blaiklock and Stratton glaciers .
Participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955–1958) under the direction of British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs mapped and named it in 1957. It is named after Ellis Williams (1920–1997) of the Royal Air Force , radio operator on this research trip.
