Willibrordis Bonefeld
Maria Willibrordis Bonefeld (* 1907 in Paderborn as Therese Bonefeld ; † August 2002 in Lima ) was the German General Superior and founder of the order.
Life, accomplishments and work
Therese Bonefeld made her profession on August 15, 1933 with the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus von Hiltrup and accepted the religious name Maria Willibrordis. In 1938 she was sent to Peru.
In 1961 she founded the Missionaries of the Teaching and Atonement Savior with Friedrich Kaiser and was their first General Superior until 1986. Her funeral took place in October 2003 in the motherhouse of the community in Caravelí , Peru.
