Willowmore is a town in Dr Beyers Naudé parish , Sarah Baartman District , Eastern Cape Province in South Africa . It is located at the intersection of the N9 and R329 roads , 264 kilometers from Port Elizabeth and 85 kilometers from Plettenberg Bay . The city is the seat of the municipal administration. In 2011 it had 7,678 inhabitants.
The town, founded in 1864, is named after the owner of the farm on whose grounds it was built, William Moore. It still has many historical buildings from the time it was founded.
