Willy Bandholz (born July 28, 1912 in Schenefeld , † January 29, 1999 in Rimini , Italy ) was a German field handball player .
He was a student at the Ludwig-Meyn-Gymnasium in Uetersen and a member of the local handball team. With this student team he has already achieved considerable sporting success. Bandholz later became a member of the team that won the gold medal at the 1936 Summer Olympics . He played all five games. In club sport, Bandholz was active for the Oberalster VfW , with whom he became German runner-up in 1936.
