Willy Neumann

Willy Meent Gerhard Neumann (born January 18, 1914 in Norderney ; † August 10, 1978 in Bremen ) was a German politician ( DP , GDP and CDU ) from Bremen. He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

Family, education and work

Neumann grew up in Norderney and in Wilhelmshaven . He was married, last lived in Neustadt (Bremen) , had three children and seven grandchildren.

Neumann learned the profession of electrical precision mechanic in Wilhelmshaven . He served from 1936 at the III. 16th Infantry Regiment in Oldenburg (Oldenburg) and became chief radio master in 1943. After the Second World War he worked as a precision mechanic, electrician and fitter at Fr. Kock GmbH . There he was also a member of the works council.

politics

Neumann was a member of the right-wing conservative German Party (DP) until 1961 , of the conservative All-German Party (GDP) in 1961/1962 and then of the CDU in Bremen .

From 1951 to 1963 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for the DP / GDP for twelve years and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship.
