Wilsons & Co (Sharrow) is a leading manufacturer of snuff based in Sheffield , England .

The company was founded in 1737 and is still owned by the Wilson family. The founder was Thomas Wilson, who rented the Sharrow Mills from the Duke of Norfolk and used it as a shear and knife smith. It was not until the second generation, with Joseph Wilson, that they began to produce snuff. Today Wilsons is one of the world market leaders in the snuff industry and produces a wide range of snuff from traditional to modern. The best-known brand is Wilsons of Sharrow (Wilsons of Sharrow Best SP, Wilsons of Sharrow Irish Toast No. 21, Wilsons of Sharrow Irish High Toast No. 22), the former company name (company).

Wilsons & Co (Sharrow) also produces the brand of the formerly independent company "Friborg & Treyer", which also belongs to the Wilsons Group. The well-known company McChrystal's from Leicester purchases all semi-finished goods from Wilsons and only aromatizes the snuff.
