Wilson's Promontory Lighthouse
Wilsons Promontory Lighthouse (German: Wilsons Promontory Lighthouse) is located at South Point , Victoria , Australia on the Wilsons Promontory Peninsula . history
The Wilsons Promontory Lighthouse was built by convicts between 1853 and 1859 during the British colonial era. The 19 meter high lighthouse and the associated country house were built from the locally available granite. The Wilsons Promontory Lightstation with lighthouse and country house is inscribed on the Commonwealth Heritage List in Victoria .
