Windermere is a Danish rock group from Copenhagen .

Her first album The World is here was recorded in May 2003 and released in 2004. The album was mixed by Kim Oxlund and mastered by Steve Fallone ( Strokes , Tricky , Sonic Youth etc.). The album was produced by Kim Oxlund and the American producer and songwriter M. Maurice Hawkesworth. The album was named as one of the ten most important Danish albums of 2004 by Denmark's largest television and radio station, Danmarks Radio . Two years later, the band's second album "No One Wins" followed.

The song There's a Sun from the album No One Wins is situated on the Weekly Mix # 33 of Artrocker . A music video was shot for this song, directed by Henrik Lorentzen.
