The Windigo River is a right tributary of the Severn River .

The river has its source southwest of Upper Windigo Lake . It flows mainly in a northerly direction. It flows through a number of larger lakes: Upper Windigo Lake, Windigo Lake , Nikip Lake and Sakwaso Lake . Finally, the Windigo River flows into the Muskrat Dam Lake through which the Severn River flows . The Windigo River has a length of about 200 km. Its catchment area covers 10,800 km². The mean discharge is 99 m³ / s. Major tributaries of the Windigo River are the Kishikas River and MacDowell River from the left, and the North Caribou River from the right.
