The windmill Parey is a Grade II listed windmill in the municipality Elbe-Parey in Saxony-Anhalt belonging district Parey .

It is located north of Parey on the south bank of Lake Kühns Loch .
Architecture and history
The Paltrock windmill was built in Frenz in 1946 by the Kühn company from a post windmill that had previously been moved from another location . It was then dismantled in 1990/91 and rebuilt in 1992/93 at its current location in Parey. Before that, there was another Paltrockmühle at this point. It went back to a post mill that had been built by master carpenter W. Hoppe from Güsen . In 1904 it belonged to the Ogen family after several changes of ownership. Master miller A. Ogen then had the Mühlbock converted into a Paltrockmühle by the Kühn company in 1951 or 1952. It offered more space and turned automatically into the wind with its compass rose. It was the last commercial wind-powered mill in the GDR . However, it was completely destroyed by a lightning strike on May 1, 1983 and was finally replaced by today's mill.
The wind-moving mill has a wing cross with a blind wing. Essential technical equipment such as drive shafts and grinding and grist pass come from the Paltrockmühle Rödgen, which was demolished in 1991 .
In addition, the mill has a roller mill , a grinding machine, a waste sifter , cleaning with a peeling machine, aspirator and trieur and auxiliary equipment such as elevator, transmissions and elevators.
In the local register of monuments , the mill is listed as a monument under registration number 094 18316.
