Linacher Höhe wind measurement mast

The wind measuring mast Linacher height with a height of 99 m after the wind turbine Hannover-Marie Werder the second highest wooden building and the only rope anchored wooden tower in Germany. It is located on the Linacher Höhe near Furtwangen in the Black Forest at 1040  m above sea level. NHN height and is therefore the highest wind measurement mast .

The wooden mast was erected in 2013 and put into operation on June 28, 2013. It consists of 11 individual segments, each 9 meters long, with a square cross-section with the dimensions 1.4 meters * 1.4 meters. The wind measurement mast was developed by Benjamin Kienzler.
