The Jaisalmeru wind farm is a wind farm in the state of Rajasthan in India . With an installed capacity of 1,064 GW , it broke the one gigawatt barrier and as of 2012 is the largest wind farm in the country and one of the largest wind farms in the world.
technology
A wide variety of wind turbine types are used. Of Suzlon Energy , among other early models with 350 kW rated power as well as modern turbines S9X series 2.1 MW are used. Systems from the manufacturer Gamesa are also used.
