The apartment block Windscheidstrasse 25–31 / Harleßstrasse in the Düsseldorf district of Düsseltal was built in 1928 for the civil servants housing cooperative eGmbH based on designs by architects Josef Schönen and Willy Krüger .

The building group with a total of 81 small apartments is an example of the architecture of New Objectivity in Düsseldorf and proves that in Düsseldorf “a new and objective, modern architectural language had prevailed in its specifically Düsseldorf variant”, which “clearly reflects the features of the Gesolei buildings by Wilhelm Kreis carries ”. The four- to six-storey cubic structure has brick facades over a stone base.
