Windward Performance is a US aircraft development company and manufacturer based in Bend, Oregon . The company was founded by Greg Cole, who is also its managing director.

Aircraft constructions

Windward Performance supports other companies with their technical expertise in fiber composite construction and develops and builds aircraft at Bend Airfield such as the ultralight glider SparrowHawk , the performance glider DuckHawk and the stratospheric research aircraft Perlan II , which set a new world record in gliding at 15,800 m on September 3, 2017 .
