Winfried Baumann (artist)
Winfried Baumann (born September 16, 1956 in Creglingen ) is a German artist. He lives and works in Nuremberg and Buch / Ufr.
Life
After an apprenticeship as a stonemason in his parents' company, Baumann completed another apprenticeship as a wood sculptor at the state wood sculpting school in Bischofsheim an der Rhön . From 1982 to 1988 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg . First with Wilhelm Uhlig and then with Ludwig Scharl . He became a master class student and in 1989 he received the debut award of the Free State of Bavaria.
