Winfried Kaballo
Winfried Kaballo (born April 24, 1952 in Koblenz-Horchheim ) is a German mathematician and professor at the Technical University of Dortmund .
He began studying mathematics (with a minor in physics) at the universities of Mainz and Kaiserslautern in 1969 . From 1973 to 1977 he was a research assistant at the University of Kaiserslautern. In 1974 he obtained his doctorate there . Three years later , at the age of just 25, he also completed his habilitation at the University of Kaiserslautern. In the same year he took a position at the University of Dortmund and has held a professorship there since 1979. From 1985 to 1989 Winfried Kaballo was visiting professor at the University of the Philippines .
Winfried Kaballo deals with operator theory and functional analysis .
