Winfried Schröder (philosopher)

Winfried Schröder (* 22. March 1956 in Menden ) is a German philosopher and historian of philosophy , which at the University of Marburg as professor of history of philosophy teaches. His main areas of work are the history of metaphysics , the philosophy of religion (especially the criticism of religion and atheism ) and ethics , as well as the history of philosophical concepts. A special focus is the philosophy of the Enlightenment . Schröder is a student of the philosopher and history of philosophy Günter Gawlick .
