At the XI. Winter Paralympics 2014 were held between March 8 and 14, 2014 in the Laura Biathlon and Cross-Country Ski Center , a facility that was built on the Psechako mountain ridge (Chrebet Psechako) near Krasnaya Polyana , eighteen competitions in biathlon . The name "Laura" comes from a wild mountain river in the Caucasus.
