The winter port of Kaunas ( lit.Kauno žiemos uostas ; winter inland port Kaunas , lit.Kauno žiemos vidaus vandenų uostas , port Vilijampolė , lit.Vilijampolės uostas ) is an inland port in the second largest Lithuanian city ​​of Kaunas , in the Vilijampolė district . The port is located on the left (western) bank of the Nemunas River ( Raudondvario pl. 113). The area is 8 hectares. The port is managed and operated by the State Directorate for Inland Waterways .
