The Winti Panthers is a beach soccer team that was founded in 2007 with players from Winterthur and Pfäffikon ZH . The Winti Panthers have been playing in Switzerland's highest league, the Suzuki Swiss Beach Soccer League, since 2008. You have been training on the Deutweg sports field (previously the riding arena ) in Winterthur since 2015 . The team consists mainly of players from Winterthur and the Zurich Oberland.

The Winti Panthers did not play "home games" until 2015 because the game mode did not provide for any at that time. The season is carried out in such a way that the tournaments take place at a different location in Switzerland every weekend for three months and all teams play their games there. Since the Winti Panthers have been able to train on the Deutweg, there are one or two home events a year where all teams come to Winterthur.

The Winti Panthers have a 1st team, which plays in the Premier League, a 2nd team in the Challenge League and a women's and a junior team, making them one of the largest clubs in Switzerland.

successes

One of the greatest successes of the Winti Panthers is reaching the playoff semifinals in 2015. In the semifinals, the Winti Panthers faced the eventual champions, the Chargers Baselland, and were the only team in the league to fight for a draw against the team from Basel. However, the Panthers lost the first leg relatively high and therefore played in the small final for 3rd place against the Sable Dancers from Bern, which was then unfortunately just lost. Sandro Denz was voted MVP of the Suzuki Swiss Beach Soccer League this season.
