Wioletta Janina Wilk (born May 6, 1967 in Sławno , married Wioletta Sosnowska ) is a former Polish badminton player .

Athletic career

Wioletta Wilk, starting for Motus Koszalin, won her first bronze medal in women's singles at the Polish Championships in 1989. The following year she was third again and also won silver in doubles with Katarzyna Krasowska . In 1991 and 1992 she finished third again before reaching silver in 1993.

In 1992 she started in the women's singles and doubles at the Olympics. In the singles she lost her opening match against Zarinah Abdullah with 0-2 sets and was 33rd In doubles with Bożena Bąk they won in round 1 against Emilia Dimitrova and Neli Nedyalkova from Bulgaria, but lost in round 2 against Anna Lao and Rhonda Cator from Australia , so that it was enough for 9th place in the end. In the Olympic year, she was also in the second round of the Swiss Open .
