Wiomad
The holy Wermad (also Weomad, Weomadus or Wiemad; † 8 November 791 ) was Bishop and Archbishop of Trier 762-791.
He was a co-founder of the Lorsch Abbey .
In 780 Bishop Wiomad raised the bones of St. Castor von Karden and buried them in the local Paulinus Church in Karden . This meant the official ecclesiastical recognition of his cult and is equivalent to today's beatification .
