The Wirteltor , first mentioned in a document in 1392, was a city ​​gate in Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia . It stood on the north side of the city at the confluence of Wirtelstrasse and Schenkelstrasse . It belonged to the city fortifications of Düren .

The Wirteltor was a two-story tower gate, which was built at the end of the 14th and beginning of the 15th century. This gate almost corresponded in its design to that of the upper gate . It was auctioned for demolition on April 14, 1832 and demolished in 1834.
