Economy and Competition (WuW) is a specialist journal for German and European competition law . It has been published monthly in Handelsblatt Fachmedien GmbH since 1951 .
According to the publisher's own information, WuW is aimed at “lawyers in companies, authorities, courts, business and professional associations”.
The content therefore consists of articles on the subjects of merger control, competition and antitrust law as well as market organization. Current questions are answered by "practice-related treatises, comments and short articles by recognized experts from science and practice". Furthermore, the current practice of antitrust law in Germany, Europe and in many of the leading industrial countries can be shown. Another integral part of the booklet is the WuW decision collection as a loose-leaf edition, which the reader can cut out and file in a structured manner. Access to the online archive with full texts from 1997 is free for subscribers. This convenient reference work offers the user the opportunity to conduct extensive research.
