The Wisdom Hills are a group of up to 2000 m high hills in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Bowers Mountains they rise from the northwestern part of the Molar massif .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1983 at the suggestion of the New Zealand geologist Malcolm Gordon Laird (1935-2015) based on the name of the massif. Because of that after the molar ( English molar is named) the designation is patently the wisdom tooth ( English wisdom tooth ) from.
